Recently, we received a call from the good folks at Platinum Home Mortgage in Modesto, CA. They were looking for a way to change out their exterior signs. Their building sits low to the ground and after we came out for a visit with them, we recommended dimensional lettering of 8” tall, formed plastic letters. These would lend themselves nicely to the facade of their office building.
As you can see in the image, now nobody can miss “Platinum Home Mortgage Corp.” We created two sets of dimensional lettering; one for the front of the building and one for the side most visible to the public. The stucco-color building facade is a perfect fit for the dimensional letters in formed black plastic. There’s no way anyone passing by or looking for their offices won’t be able to find them.

To create the dimensional letter signs for Platinum Home Mortgage, we used 8” tall, formed plastic letters. The typestyle was GT-Helvetica and the color was 2025 Black. The letters were combination mounted flush with paper pattern per art for each letter. The cut vinyl of each letter was 3M Matte Black 22.
Because dimensional letters are cut from durable materials such as plastics or acrylic, they are long-lasting and look great on building exteriors. Whereas channel lettering is often very large, dimensional lettering can be tempered down to fit the look and feel of the location. One of the best benefits of dimensional letters is that they are highly visible and very easy to read. Dimensional letters just look professional. They are available in many different font types and a wide variety of colors.
