According to the U.S. Census, in 2019, the average one-way commute in the United States was 27.6 minutes. That’s about half of an hour of people in traffic, just looking at vehicles. Although, this may sound depressing for the average American, it’s a great opportunity to advertise for your company. One way to market to these commuters is by having your logo and company information on a vehicle. At City Signs, we help provide car graphics and decals. A portable advertisement that also increases professionalism.
Crown Painting Inc.

For example, the image above illustrates graphics that City Signs helped create and install. The graphics shows off Crown Printing Inc.’s logo, website, and phone number. This is great because whether the vehicle is stationary or is moving, potential clients can take a quick photo of all the information.

You also have the option to get vinyl at the back of your vehicle. This way you’re advertising from not only your left and right but your back as well!
Coit

Car vinyl can also be used to add descriptions to your vehicle like COIT’s beautiful car graphics. It lets customers know that COIT can provide services for carpet, drapery, upholstery, tile and more!
Vehicle graphics also help your clients’ feel more comfortable. When heading over to a job, it let customers know your company has arrived to provide service and not a random stranger.
At City Signs, we also create and install vinyl for non-business-related vehicles.
The Process of Getting Vehicle Graphics
First, we would need the measurements of your vehicle. This allows the designer to have a sense on how big the vinyl should be.
Second, you would discuss with your City Signs designer how you want your vinyl to look like. You would be choosing the location, colors, font and more. Your designer will create different versions to see which appeals to you most.
Next, the production team will reach out to you to let you know when your appointment is. When you bring your vehicle, you’ll have the option to leave it with the company or be always present.
Lastly, the production team will place all the approved vinyl and you can take your car back.
How To Take Care of Vinyl
Once your car is ready to go, it’s important to keep a few things in mind, like:
- Too much exposure to sun light can make your decals fade.
- Washing your car through automatic washers may remove your vinyl
- Try not to scratch the car vinyl
